McDonough County Historic Preservation Society

The McDonough County Historic Preservation Society is a not-for-profit, tax-exempt corporation which was founded in 1982 specificially to discover and memorialize the history and architecture of McDonough County. 

    The main floor of The Old Bailey House is open for self-guided tours weekdays during regular business hours 9:00am-5:00pm.

The McDonough County Historic Preservation Society Board meets on the 1st Tuesday of the month at 5:30 pm.  Locations vary.  (Board members only, but interested parties are welcome to attend.)
